Zaheer Abbas confirmed as ICC president

Previous Pakistan batsman Zaheer Abbas was affirmed as ICC president on the third day of the ICC yearly meeting in Barbados. Abbas, who had been decided for the post by the PCB, said thanks to the ICC for tolerating his assignment.

"I am likewise appreciative to the PCB for proposing my office as the ICC president. N Srinivasan, the ICC executive, portrayed Abbas as a "commendable envoy" of the diversion.
